Long time, no Blog

Suuuuup. Okay so since I am a lazy bastard, I haven't blogged in forever. Yet I have managed to throw out 600+ tweets in less than 3 weeks. hmmm.



But the excellent news today that has forced me to blog, is LOST. FEB 2ND 2010. TUESDAY! I am glad that it has not moved back to Thursday, because then my TV would commit suicide. Knowing the date just makes it seem that much closer to beginning! Even though its not. 75 days exactly. 1,801 hours, 4 minutes and 10 seconds to be precise. But, it being the holiday season, time flies like a bitch, so close your eyes, and when you open them, Lost will be closer. I promise.



So theres been alot of TV madness going on recently, but before i delve into that, i wanna say in regards to ANTM: CALLLLED IT! From day one. I predicted Whitney, McKey, and now Nicole from day one. 3 out of the past 4 seasons....I predicted Fo, but she didn't win, but caused Tyra to make a petite ANTM season... Good job me, for being so smart.



Okay so I wanna talk about Survivor. and how ridic awesome this season has been. I mean, immunity idols flying left and right, backstabbing and blindsides a-plenty! My boy Brett is still going strong, as it seems that not talking is doing him alot of good! Russell has 2 options every week, for as long as he stays in the game. Find the hidden immunity, and play it at tribal regardless of whether hes the target, or win immunity. If he manages to survive this week, its only gonna get harder for him. I have a feeling that Galu is gonna target Jaison, Natalie or Mick next, which is the only smart move. Russell knows your coming for him. take out one of those freaking foa foas already!!!! That's one less vote on Russells side! And we all know Shambo is gonna switch sooner or later, so why not make it later, rather then sooner!? But as much as I hate Laura and her little minion Monica, Galu NEEDS to get rid of Foa Foa before they start turning on each other. Last week wasn't their fault, but they have to approach the next few weeks very cautiously....If they get outnumbered, by turning on each other, it turns into last season all over again. I mean, keep it together! My ideal final 2: Brett and Mick. Both are playing similar games, but on diff sides. Brett would probs get the vote (yay) because the jury would be majority Galu, and he doesn't seem to be pissing off people (except when he denied Erik's high five).....The remaining episodes are all a tossup.



The Office is taking on alot of heavier issues, which i really love. I mean, a small paper company, in this economy would absolutely be having problems. The realism of it reminds us that it still is a mockumentry, and theres real things to be dealt with. The Erin and Andy courtship is what I think Pam and Jim's courtship would have been if she wasn't engaged when they met. Except less pranks, and more awkwardness. The fact that Andy used to be this strong willed, confident, Cornell (ever heard of it?) grad, who boldy stole an ice sculpture, and sang to Angela to win her heart.... Her breaking his heart later is what made him be like this with Erin. Cautious, stuttering, messing up, getting embarrassed, ect. Its quite adorable, and even though i want these 2 together, i could enjoy alot more episodes of these cute little flirtations.

So, as you may gather by the title, I have begun watching s4 of Lost again, only a few episodes behind WFTB! Currently, I am about to press play on S4e1! Here I go!!



Previously on Lost: Naomi falls victim to John's knife throwing accuracy, Jack and everyone else is really sweaty, and the freighter peeps say that they are coming to the rescue.



Wow Jack, a bit early for vodka.... Of course Hurley's car breaks like 30 mirrors lol How would anyone ever find Hurley threatening...Except behind the wheel of a VW van! Poor Hurley will always be haunted by his past.



The guy who plays Ana's partner looks like a real cop. And I'm guessing that's why he plays one on Southland now too. Oh and plus he likes donuts. That's gotta count for something....



Okay great graphics coming up! Love the water flushing out of the window....so sweet!



What bothered me when everyone says "Yay we are going home!" like they had such a great life back home. I mean, Kate is sooooo enthusiastic to go to prison, Jack wants to go back to being depressed, and everyone else feels like going back to the lives that the island has freed them from!!!???



CANNONBALLLLL! I love it. Such a free moment. Hurley, smiling underwater just made me day :)

But then this moment comes. No one has to say anything...You can see the looks on their faces of what Charlie meant to them...Breaks my heart. :.(

OHMYGOD. Abbadon. Im a Fringe watcher, and see him every week, but frick, he still scares me!! Those eyes, that quiet voice, and that half smile he always flashes.. *shudder*



I love when Sawyer reaches out to Hurley, and offers to talk with him about Charlie...the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Okay Cabin time! Getting lost in the jungle at night would probably be the scariest thing that could happen to you on the island...



Ben on the leash is pure comic genius...especially when Sawyer gets to walk him later on!



Ohhhhman. Christian in Jacobs rocking chair, and the eye in the window.....SO SCARY! I think that it looks like Desmonds eye! But that would make absolutely no sense.



Season 4 marked a new start for John. The moment Sawyer killed Anthony, John was set free...Its so unfortunate that it didn't last long :( Johns leadership of "Team John" was incredible to watch, even though he was a douche.



Claire looking for Charlie. So upsetting.



But then this amazing scene comes after. Charlie <3>

Okey so my anger towards Jack extremely intensified the moment when he pulled that trigger of the gun pointed to Johns head. He was willing to kill John in front of everyone. Thats menacing.

"What are you doing" "Same thing I've always done Kate....Survivin" Love that line. since the day of the crash, Sawyer has taken steps to ensure his survival, and then in the later seasons, to ensure the survival of the group as a whole....

Wow. Kate and Jack visiting the fuselage just reminds me how far this show has come.... And how much I loved it from the first episode.

FAVE PART ALERT!! DANNNNNNNNIEL! <3>

"Are you Jack?" He asks this question with such confidence and mystery, you would have never have guessed that hes a bumbling cutie scientist! Little did I know that he would become one of my fave Losties, along with Sawyer and Charlie!

Im so looking forward to rewatching season 4, and hopefully being able to join all my other WFTBers on Mon, Wed, and Fri (If Im not working)!

S3E19 The Brig

I am preparing to cry. Like I do everytime I watch this ep. Sawyers emotions just make my heart sadddd.

Red file. Red just seems to signify death.

haha Sawyer with his lovely bedhead. "Want me to walk you home?" hahah Skater FOR LIFE!!

Hurley counteracting Sawyers question "What the hell are you all doing?" "What the hell are you doing?" hahha Those two have fabulous dynamic. BFF! James and Hugo!

"Want to zip your pants up?" lol John is just full of wit!!!!

As much as I love John, it drives me wild that he cannot find approval, but still NEEDS it sooo badly. He has his rebellious moments, but is all the time, needing someone to please. Its sad. When Non-John was supposedly brought back to life, it was quite nice to see he had a newfound confidence about him. A swagger, if you must. :) But then it wasnt him. Which explained alot about Non-John's personality changes.

John bringing up Sawyers parents just breaks my heart.....He fully deserved to be pistol whipped in the head by Sawyer. lol

Sawyers puppy dog faces in this ep are making me AWWW outloud quite alot. And I know you did too!!! Dont deny.

I actually quite enjoyed when noone trusted Jack. It was justified.

Why does Naomi lie? I mean, why not tell them that she is there for Ben, and then they can help. I understand her situation. Being alone, injured, and surrounded by strangers. Shes stuck between a rock and a hard place. But fabricating this story about coming to get Desmond just digs her into a deep hole that she wont be able to get out of.....

This scene wiht Ben bullying John into killing Anthony is just cruel. Preying on the weakness of John when it comes to his father. Mean, Mean, Mean. And its just because Ben had super bad daddy issues too.

THE BRIG!> ooooohhhh Its almost time for one of the most intense scenes in Lost ever.

It creeps me out big time when Anthony calls Sawyer "friend". Its just the manor in which he talks.....Creepo.

And the "A little hot for hell isnt it?" line? Chills. For real.

Now I am preparing myself for the emotional waterfall that is this scene.


---"Read it." Josh Holloway put so much into this scene, it breaks my heart even though I have seen this eppy like 7 times. Just raw emotion.

Ohman.

The moment Anthony rips the letter, I wanted to kill him, as Im sure allll of you wanted to also. I was worried that by reverting back to his old self, that Sawyer would become that bitter angry man that boarded the plane in Syndey.
But then, give it half a season,and he is a responsible, still snarky and sarcastic, leader that we always knew he could be. Ridding himself of that past, and letting go of the revenge (even by means of murder) allowed him to move on with his life, and stop being so angry.

"We should tell her" Juliet wants to share the secret plan with Kate, but lookey at that! Jack doesn't trust her. Maybe because Kate cant keep a secret.

Locke just seems so free now. Ben made him believe that he would not be able to continue his island journey without personally killing Anthony, but since Sawyer did his dirty work, Locke feels more connected to the island and powerful.


Wow, what a good episode.

I might sneak in a few more eppys tonight. Time will tell.

WFTB with myself! S3E18

Okay so since I am ages behind WFTB, I decided to try and watch a bunch of eppys in a row and then write about them here, in bulk. That way my Twitter feed isnt pumping out 60 tweets an hour for like 5 hours!

Okay so here we go---->

S3E18- D.O.C

Oh Hurley, flare gun misfiring? "oops"? We could never stay mad at you though...
People say that Sun and Jin have the worst flashbacks, but i think that their flashbacks show just how much both of them have changed since Oceanic crashed. I mean, I hated hated hated Jin for most of season 1....But the flashbacks showed that he was corrupted morally in order to "earn" the right to marry Sun. But no matter what, these 2 are meant to be. All the shit that they have been through, they deserve to have a happy life, away from her father, with cute little JiYeon.

Naomi confused me alot by changing her language over and over, even though they could understand her the first couple times....

I HATE MIKAEL. HATE. stupid bastard. Plus I think his eyepatch is beyond creepy, and Im glad that Jin kicked his ass. Well deserved.

"How do you think it will feel, taking a flare to the chest at this range?" I love the badass side of Des. In control Des. Doing what he has to do. I love it.

Hahaha Sun visiting Jins father, wearing super expensive clothes and heels...I love Jins dad. He is so happy and selfless, and just seems like the most peachy guy on the planet! He raised Jin alone, and if you skip the part where Jin was Mr Paik's robot, he did a pretty good job of it. Hes willing to pretend to be dead in order for his son to have a good life.

I love Sun being all snarky with Juliet. She had a right to be. I mean, Juliet had just entered their camp, and Jack had just declared her "one of them". No one in that camp besides Jack had an ounce of trust in her. Rightfully so.

"If the money is for your husband, it is he who will bear this debt"--- And so it began. Jin didnt want to enter that profession, and we were led to believe that he chose to do so to keep Sun, but it was a gutwrenching twist to find out that she set the events in motion that turned her husband into the monster that she despised. Full circle I guess.

Charlie wants to keep Mikael tied up. Reminds me of when Sawyer said to John regarding a tied up Ben "Well you walk him then!" lol

This attitude that Sun has about the baby is troubling. She thinks she loses either way. Dying vs the baby not being Jins? I think the choice is easy.

Jins pride is completely destroyed when Sun lies that she got money to pay for their new life together. I would be too if i was a dude. Then he says "I dont want to be in your fathers debt more than we already are" OUCH. That one must have a stinging effect on Suns conscience.

AWWWW Sun seeing her baby is just a beautiful moment. You think that Sun is crying because she might die, but they are happy tears instead. Just beautiful. Really shows how much she loves him.

The moment Juliet wanted to go back inside the hatch, I got suspicious. She is so good at lying because her face is just expressionless. Bitch. lol If you know me, you know I dislike Juliet. Alot. Even though she expresses her dislike for Ben at the end, she is still doing his bidding at the moment.

OHMAN. I love this part where Hurley pretends to call his mom! LOL

Instenseness insues: "Flight 815. They found the plane. There were no survivors. They were all dead." CHILLLLLLS!

Sorry that Im lame and I work alot.

Work has just been overwhelming lately. I'm sooo far behind on WFTB. For those of you who don't know what that is, it stands for Watch From The Beginning, and its a bunch of us twitter folk getting together and re watching Lost before the final season begins. (For more info follow @LOST_WFTB on Twitter.) We watch an episode every Monday Wednesday and Friday. Right now its at s4e03 I believe (on Monday). If you are a Lost fan, this is a really awesome experience to go back, watch in order, and with other fans, noticing what you didn't the first time (or in my case and many others, the 5th or 20th time) Damon and Carlton reeealllly knew what they were doing. Thats why I know the final season will kick all of our asses. I have complete trust that they will end this show in a satisfying way for most people. Theres always going to be the people who arent pleased no matter what....

I picked up the new Lost magazine, and had a weird and horrible experience doing so. Im going to paint you a picture. Im freezing cold from being outside, in a bad mood, just wanting to pick up the mag and go. Plus Im wearing my Dharma touque that I got when I bought season 4. The guy at the checkout counter said: "It ends so soon. Its practically done already" (strike one. Idiot. If you think its "practically done already" then either you havent been paying attention, or you arent a real fan.)

Then this guy goes on to rip on the time travel, and said "i think they were trying too hard to be science fiction" (at that point i was ready to throw my Grande extra-hot White Mocha in his face)

The he proceeds to say "I read online how it ends, and who all dies at the end...I can tell you if you want" GEEEZ. I mean, im standing there looking rather annoyed as you beak on my Favourit show ever, wearing a freaking Dharma Initiative touque, buying the Lost magazine, and you want to tell me how it ends???????!!!! Dumbass. So I said "umm no" grabbed my bag and speedwalked out of that place. Ridiculous.



In the mag, theres a great Michael Emerson interview about Bens dark side, and how he thinks Ben deals with all the bad stuff that he has done. Its quite awesome. And plus, the mag comes with a 2 page Jacob poster!!!!!! Here is the amazing picture:

Bitchin hey? I think that I kind of need to put it up on my wall because I do own a shirt that says "Jacob Loves Me". Brilliant huh? I know.

Anyways. I am going to try and watch like 5 eps of Lost before DH and AR are on. And then maybe a few after. But DAMN, I WILL CATCH UP!

Personally, Im quite sad about this. Not only did i pick him in my Survivor Pool, but I think hes a decent guy who had a decent chance (the leader role would have probably been his downfall) Now, I dont know for sure if he is taken out of the game, but that is my guess. I mean, Jeff was so worried that he wouldnt make it. Seriously scary. I wonder what he did that he was so spent while pushing that ball?? My guess is that he hit his head at somepoint (before falling on the table) and got a concussion, therefore crumpling over the maze table.

All that I can say for sure is that this episode is gonna be a gooder! If Russell does get taken out by the medical team, then 2 people will leave the game in this ep. Which is nervewracking but exciting!!!

Amazing Race "Live" thoughts

Okay here are my AR thoughts, as I'm watching it a day later....Its Canadian Thanksgiving, give me a break!

First commercial break: How tough would it to be the teams who have to take another flight?Losing sight of your opponents is one of the worst things to do on this show....I mean, besides counting the number of clues left in the clue box, you don't really know for sure what place you are in at any given time....Its rough..
Oh and I should throw this out there, my fave team: Sama and Dan!!!! Whoot! Then Flight Time/Big Easy, and Zev/Justin, and Gary/Matt. I hate Lance and Keri, those stupid poker girls Tiffany and Michelle, and Lance. I really hate Lance. His team should have been out instead of BonJovi and his girl at the starting line. Sad. They would have been muchmuch more exciting. Lance is such a hotheaded douchebag. Also Brian and Erika get on my nerves.

Second commercial break: Zev and Justin are clever. Joking with the cabbies, not yelling at them works.
I would defs do the scarf challenge. I mean, its indoors, not on the busy streets, and you just have to run around aimlessly, not look for a particular stall in the market.

Wowee Zev is sweating like mad! I wonder what temp it is there.. And why he is wearing a long sleeve shirt. Okay why is Sam still wearing the mask? Those boys are quite amusing.
WHAAAAAAAT? Why did Zev and Justin beat Sam and Dan???????/!!!!!! Boo.
But OMG. How did Z and J lose thier stuff? Keep in in the freaking fanny!!!

Fourth Commercial: Lance, take Keri's advice: "shut up!"
What the hell is Lance doing at the pitstop. What an idiot.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so sad about Zev and Justin. Just plain old bad luck. Toni and Dallas were my fave team in their season, and it was just heartbreaking to see them be eliminated because of such a simple mistake. Just tragic.

NEXT TIME: The desert looked discustingly hot. But damn, did that sliding snow challenge look freaking fun!!!!

Thursdays!!!!!!!!!

Okay so last night I worked from 6-9:30. Then went to a friends show until 1:45. Then when I got home, as a TV addict, made the decision to watch all the shows that I had recorded, no matter how late i would have to stay up. I stayed up until 5:30 just so you know. Please be proud of my dedication!!!! My shows included Survivor, then THE OFFICE, then Community, then Fringe. I have to watch FlashForward and Greys online because taping is pretty much impossible on Thursdays. Here are my thoughts:

Survivor: Loved that they actually showed Galu! I love getting to know the people ive been watching WIN every week!! Shambo is really getting on my nerves.. I would have given her that same WTF look that everyone else was giving her when she was "speaking" to the chickens....wow. But yay for Erik. A smart strong guy with an idol. What could go wrong?? lol He plans to not tell anyone (good idea) and eventually use it (pleeease do)...And how about Dave?? Pulling out that amazing bocce ball-ish game win with the last throw? Thats what the spirit of competition is all about! Did I feel bad that Yasmin was booted? No. Would it have been nice to see both her and Natalie go? Absolutely! But you cant always get what you want.... Happiness: seeing Brett for more than 2 seconds...He was my #1 draft pic for my family Survivor pool. We pick 2 people, and draw 2 more. My Team: Brett Russell S, Monica, and Kelly. Go team Molly!!!!! Next Week: EW, EW, EW, and more EW. I want to go on Survivor more than anything, but that challenge would be the death of me, I swear.

THE OFFICE!!!!!!!!: Okay I was pretty much crying when the ep started. More of laughter at the cold open. Which was EPIC. I hate seeing people puke (much like Andy) but i was almost dying of laughter at the spontaneous pukeage of The Office. Just terrific.

Okay and after that, I pretty much was teary--->bawling for the rest of the ep. It was so fantastically written. I know some people just expected it to be this mushy mess. But it had the uber romantic moments, without seeming like Jim and Pam were like freaking Brangelina (ugggh I promise I will never mention them again). They are, after all, 2 people from Scranton who work at a paper company. Not a celebrity couple. The normalness of it all was amazing. Jim getting drunk the night before, everyone whos single trying to get with eachother, and of course a DANCEOFF!! hahah Oh Andy. You are so amazing, but Im sorry to inform you that you will always be my number 2 fave. Mr Halpert being numero uno. But how cute are Andy and Erinn? She lets him rest his damaged "area" (not gonna repeat it A) gross and B) unsure of spelling) on her sweater. Thats Love.

Kevin was also keeping me entertained with his "bf" oscar and his hairpiece, and his feet. Oh yes, his feet. (FYI Im never having hotel ice ever again.) How hilarious was Michael with the apricot fruit-to-go bar that Pams not so innocent mother gave him. Of course she had a snack lol But holy crap Michael. Thats mildly wrong to go for Pam's Ma. I mean, you tried to kiss Pam at Diwali. Ew. and you have stated that you want to take a bath with her. And she has seen your "ipod shuffle". Ew. And since when did Dwight become a player??? And Michael too, until he saw the twins. ahahah

Now onto the crying-ness part. I wouldnt have wanted Jim and Pam to get married any single other way. Just them. In the rain just like when he proposed. (The falls count as rain okay?) Just the spontanaety of it all was perfect. Of course Pam was stressing out. Her family is kinda rude. Especially MeMaw. But more on her later. Jim cutting off his tie was pure magic. I mean, if I get married, I would want it to be a guy who would cut off his tie for me. Now, onto the dancing: I loved Cafe Disco. It will always be in my top 5 episodes. Being in Cafe Disco made Jim and Pam decide to not have a small wedding, but a big one with everyone. And they plan it, and then throw it out at the last second for a private boat wedding. Only to go back to the church and recieve this funtastic dance-wedding that rivals Cafe Disco (sorry Michael!) Just the looks that Jim and Pam were giving eachother were totally showing that they didnt care about the fact that their families were about to ruin their wedding by pranking them---> oh Karma! But what the hell right! Why not have that fun dance-down-the-aisle ceremony? LovesIt,LovesIt,LovesIt. And justsoyouknow, I will be watching this episode appx 100 times in the next year. Okay? Okay.

Ohyah, and MeMaw: Geez old lady, you suck.

Community:

Firstly, how hot is Joel McHale? lol Sorry, I had to. Now onto the ep: Love Ken Jeong. So fantastically crazy. I love the plain relationships that everyone is building. Its cute. And I wish everyone had a friend like Abed. That guy is my hero. I hope that they end the eps with Troy and Abed's funtime adventures. This time was almost as funny as the rap. Extremely racist and stereotypical, but funny as hell. "Im not 40! I can hear you through the glass." "Pretend we are sleeping.."

Fringe! Holy crapola. soooooooooooooooooooo good! Curtis from 24 was in it! The head snatcher guy!!!!! lol But OMG Walter is soooooooooo adorable! Aww he is just so cute with that girl. And with the bus. Okay one little thing that is bothering me: William Bell told Olivia to tell Peter this latin phrase. Was that the one she woke up saying? Oh and lets have a moment of internet silence for Charlie. The one who I liked, not shape shifter version. I'm sad hes gone. Well, there's always alternate universe Charlie, with the scar on his face. The thing that worries me is that there's no alt Peter. So he had better be careful with that "second chance (?)" he was given unbeknown st to him... That moment when the drug lady saw alt Peter was so strange.....I had to rewind and watch again 2 times...Just fascinating...I can tell that Walter might have to deal with Peter finding out the truth about himself soon..... Cant wait!!!!

Okay so I am watching Greys and FlashForward tonight, so hopefully I will get to write about them tomorrow. But I work. Again. Blahh I hate being grown up.

Americas Next Top Model thoughts

Okay firstly, Tyra hair is waaaaayyy to dark. And the whole sleeve thing Ms. J has going on is just way to tacky. Now that I got that out of my system, onto the contestants: My personal fave, Nicole needs some freaking self confidence! I mean, shes had all her photos in the top 5 every week i think.... I think that the frontrunners right now are Nicole, Laura, and Erin. Also perhaps Rae, but she has been mildly invisible in every episode. Gone in the nest few weeks would most likely be Kara, then perhaps Brittany, but Brit is sure a wildcard from week to week....

So for this weeks episode, I thought the idea of doing a cirque de solei theme was awesome, but how terrible was the hair, makeup, and lighting?? gah almost all those pictures looked blurry and unprofessional. Plus the background extras stood out more than the models..Baaaad. Ashley never stood out of the group in my opinion, and i think her exit was what should have happened....Kara may look like a european supermodel, but to me, she could never do editorial, and only runway. Sucks that her height will most likely make finding runway jobs almost impossible.

Hello, and Welcome

Hello Friends! I set up this blog because when i talk about TV and stuff on Twitter ( www.twitter.com/mollyfaraday ) i feel limited by, well, the limit. and i hate spoiling, so FYI, i live on the west coast, therefore i watch most of my shows very early. So stay off if you don't ant to read something you'll regret.

Anyways, an introduction: I'm Molly, and no, my actual last name is not Faraday if you were wondering. I wish. I love TV, and watch about 18 shows religiously. And Im always looking for new ones. My fave show is obviously Lost, and I am a "skater", so dont be a hater (or jater).

This blog will be primarily for TV talk, so feel free to drop a comment or 10 letting me know what shows you love, and which shows you would like me to talk about the most. Im gonna try to update every few days, but I wont always get to because i mostly use my phone as my internet source, and i cannot write blogs on it. Sucky, I know....

So hopefully you enjoy, and even if you dont, I will still be content with getting my thoughts all typed out, even if everyone thinks my opinion is shit.
